Marigolds are used extensively in garlands and decorations throughout India. I captured this one floating in a small pool in a hotel lobby.

Snake Plant Flower

Also called Sansevieria, or Mother in Law’s Tongue. It blooms only rarely (every few years) on long slender shoots. This is quite a close shot, the individual flowers are only about 1/2 – 1 inch long.
