Some of you will recognize John Marciano, the Lowell Nationnnal Historical Park ‘Special Events Coordinator’. That is government-speak for ‘this is the guy that runs the Show’ at the Lowell Summer Music Series. I will usually grab a few shots of him as he introduces each show to check my camera settings, etc.. Considering how many images I have made at the Series I thought it only fitting to include one of John.
This was my first ‘rock concert’. I had borrowed a camera and the ‘big lens’ (135mm) from my high school newspaper and stood down on the floor. My ears rang for a week. 😉
Yes, I’m still catching up on my summer music show shots. Although not exactly ‘my thing’ I enjoyed this show. The musicianship was extraordinary and her performance was heartfelt and sincere.
