This was taken in a small rural town in India. The composition isn’t the best but I was shooting through the window of the tour bus… at night. I don’t recall the specality of this shop.
As I was mowing the grass, for the second time this week mind you, a thought crossed my mind. Regardless of the season, yard work requires power tools. 😉
Just to set the scale, the front opening of our snow blower is 28 inches high. 😉
What a fun group! A New Orleans style brass band (including a banjo who doubled as the player of the world’s smallest maraca and accordian). I’m looking forward to seeing them again at the Lowell Folk Festival. You can see all my photos from their set here: http://bit.ly/thepartyband2014
Another jaw-droppingly great show at the Lowell Summer Music Series. Trombone Shorty rocked the house with a heavy dose of New Orleans jazz with a sprinkling of James Brown and Satchmo.
The Lowell Summer Music Series also presents several programs for kids. Today they had ‘Curious Creatures’ featured on the program. Snakes and parrots and aligators and a funny looking cat with a strip down it’s back. 😉
