No, I have no idea what kind of butterfly this is. 😉
The Butterfly Place in Westford, MA. is a very educational, engaging, and beautiful respite from the urban hustle. A heated, dome covered garden is the home for hundreds of butterflies year-round. It’s a great treat for photographers but make sure and bring a fast macro lens; you can get very close to the butterflies but they are very fast!

60 years ago today my parents were married. It is truely an amazing testiment to their love, commitment and stubbornness. It is an acomplishment of sublime beauty that I am unlikey to duplicate in my lifetime.
At the MGM Grand in Las Vegas they have a large enclosure where they have a few lions. Apparently they have a large ranch outside of town where they keep the animals most of the time but they rotate a few in every few days. I had to get rather lucky to catch this one in a spot where there was no reflections or scratches on the plexiglass of the enclosure.
