I captured this moment during the 2018 Lowell General Hospital CatWalk for Cancecare event. My partner, Lori, is a member of the organizing commitee and she also modeled several outfits in this year’s show. Stay tuned for more images from this fantastic event.
This is another image captured by my Dad during his service in the Korean War. My best guess is that it was taken from the window of his plane where he served as radio operator.
It’s not immediately obvious but there is a inverted-V stand under the tail of the aircraft. I presume this was to prevent the plane from tipping backwards during loading.
Yesterday was the 5th anniv. of the Boston Marathon Bombing. It still feels like it happened last month. This image was taken a week after the bombing and shows one of the damaged buildings and a small part of the flowers left in support of those killed an injured in the attack.
This image is from a significantly degraded negative from the mid 70’s. I like it for several reasons; the dreamlike quality of the grainy image, the quizzical notion of it being 2 miles to ‘Mile Run’, the mystery of where this place is in the World…
