2018 photo100 – #53

I, like most Americans, first experienced the vocal power of this group on Paul Simon’s 1986 album “Graceland”. The simple stage setup for this group, 9 microphones, belies the complexity of the harmonies and rhythms crafted by this Grammy winning ensemble.
